How To Use The Numbers Without False Precision

The tools are decision filters, not guarantees. A calculator can show whether a country belongs on your shortlist, but your final budget still depends on city, housing, visa route and risk tolerance.

Include The Costs People Forget

A real move includes rent, deposit, visa fees, insurance, flights, local transport, phone, emergency buffer and the cost of leaving or renewing. Leaving out one-time costs makes the plan look safer than it is.

Treat Ranges As Ranges

Housing markets, exchange rates, neighbourhoods and seasons move quickly. A single number is less useful than asking whether your plan survives a bad month, a higher deposit or a more expensive district.

Use The Result As A Filter

If the budget only works in the cheapest possible case, the route is fragile. If it still works with a buffer, then the country is worth deeper visa and city research.

Can I rely only on the calculator?

No. Use it for screening, then verify housing, insurance and visa costs manually.

Why add an emergency buffer?

Because relocation almost always creates costs that were not in the first spreadsheet.
